- Introduction to political philosophy (the relation between morals and politics, equality, human rights and political authority, freedom and justice as political values, descriptive and normative political philosophy.
- Liberal equality (the precedence of negative freedom; Rawls's theory of justice, Dworkin's critic of Rawls, basic income).
- Libertarianism (Nozick's self-ownership and the justification of the ownership of outside nature; Gauthier's liberalism of reciprocal utility).
- Utilitarianism (definition of utility, U- and rule utilitarianism, two ways of understanding the maximization of utility).
- Feminism (the divide between private and public; sexist understandings of equality).
- Communitarianism (critique of the liberal agent, Rawls's overlapping consensus, the standpoint of Ch. Taylor, culturalism, liberal nationalism).
- Multiculturalism and citizenship theory (tolerance, hate speech, racism, xenophobia).
Marxism (Marx's theory of exploitation, alienation and of needs in analytical Marxism).
