1) Short introduction to Philosophy of Religion: the concept of religion, the relationship of religion and philosophy, its basic categories, topics and problems. 2) Ontological, aesthetical and ethical dimensions of religions. 3) Conceptual and structural analysis of religion as symbolic forms. 4) Mythical consciousness. 5) Totemist religions, cyclical religions, monotheistic religions. 6) Selected topics: the holy, mystical religion, the problem of evil, secularity-postsecularity, religion as an anthropological phenomenon, the problem of diversity of religious symbolic forms.
During the tutorials the students under the guidance of assistant critically read and interpret selected basic texts and in short verbal performances practice and consolidate the rhetorical skills.
