The lectures will above all focus on the discussion of the following hermeneutic concepts:
- hermeneutics as the art of interpretation
- hermeneutics an the methodology of human and social sciences
- hermeneutics and philosophy
- phenomenological hermeneutics
- the anticipation of understanding;
- the time and the historicity of the situation of understanding;
- the language as an essential presupposition of hermeneutics;
- the interpretation of texts;
- the narrative and the context of language;
the philosophical terminology
- the existence and cognition as interpretation;
- Hermeneutics and metaphysics;
- the hermeneutic alterity as a philosophic, intercultural and humanistic question;
-the freedom and “the spirit of the times”;
- the problem of hermeneutic “ethics”;
- the hermeneutical relation of philosophy toward art and religion;
- the politics of (mis)understanding.
